Overview :
The Logitech M187 is an ultra-portable wireless mouse designed for professionals and users who require precision and reliability on the move. Its primary purpose is to offer a significant upgrade over laptop touchpads, providing the accuracy of a traditional mouse in a compact form factor that fits easily in a pocket or laptop bag. Engineered for mobile work environments, it solves the challenge of maintaining productivity without being burdened by cumbersome peripherals. The device establishes a stable connection through a 2.4 GHz wireless signal, ensuring consistent performance. At the core of the M187's functionality is its Advanced Optical Tracking technology, which delivers a sensor resolution of 1000 DPI. This specification translates directly to smooth, responsive cursor control across a variety of surfaces, eliminating the frustration of erratic pointer movement common with lesser mobile mice. The system operates via a tiny nano receiver that provides a simple plug-and-play experience. This reliable connectivity, with a range of up to 10 meters, gives users the freedom to work comfortably without being tethered to their device. The mouse's extra-small, ambidextrous design makes it a practical choice for deployment in any setting, from a shared office to a coffee shop. Its physical footprint is minimal, and the included nano receiver is small enough to remain in a USB port during travel or can be stored conveniently inside the mouse itself, preventing loss. Management is non-existent; setup is instant on major operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS, requiring no additional software or driver installation for core functionality.
