Overview :
The Logitech M187, part number 910-002726, is an ultra-portable wireless mouse designed for mobile professionals and users seeking a compact solution. Its primary purpose is to deliver reliable pointing precision and control in environments where space is limited, serving as a significant upgrade over standard laptop trackpads. It addresses the need for a dependable, travel-friendly mouse that works instantly without cumbersome cables or complex setup procedures. At its core, the mouse utilizes Logitech's Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless technology, ensuring a stable and consistent connection with a range of up to 10 meters (33 feet). This is facilitated by a tiny nano receiver that is small enough to remain plugged into a USB port without risk of damage or loss. The 1000 DPI optical sensor provides smooth and accurate tracking on a wide variety of surfaces, translating user hand movements into precise cursor control for efficient navigation and interaction with applications. Engineered for ambidextrous use, the M187's symmetrical, extra-small design makes it easy to pack and comfortable for both left- and right-handed users. Deployment is straightforward plug-and-play; the user simply connects the nano receiver to an available USB port on a Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, or Linux system. Its minimal physical footprint makes it ideal for use on small desks, airplane tray tables, or any other constrained workspace.
