Overview

APC SRTRK4 is a 19″ rack rail mounting kit engineered to enable installation of compatible Smart‑UPS SRT units into standard 19″ IT racks and enclosures. Technicians and facilities engineers use this kit to secure select UPS hardware that does not come with integrated rack ears, providing proper support and alignment for vertical mounting.

The kit comprises structural rail assemblies, rack mounting brackets, dedicated hardware, and an installation guide that allow installers to position the UPS chassis accurately within the rack. It is intended for use with APC Smart‑UPS SRT models that benefit from conversion from tower to rack form factor.

Physically, SRTRK4 is designed to match the 19″ rack width standard, with compact dimensions that fit within typical IT cabinet openings without consuming excessive vertical space. It supports secure mechanical attachment points for UPS units up to supported kVA sizes and reduces installation complexity.

This rail kit does not include electrical components and provides no power distribution, network functions, or monitoring capabilities. Its role is strictly mechanical support for UPS hardware within rack environments.

SRTRK4 is not intended for UPS models outside its supported range or for use with non‑Smart‑UPS SRT equipment, as its rail spacing, bracket configuration, and fasteners are tailored to specific APC UPS chassis models.
