APC SRTRK3 – 19″ 2‑Post Rail Kit

Overview

APC SRTRK3 is a rail mounting kit designed to enable installation of select Smart‑UPS SRT models into standard 19″ IT racks and enclosures using a 2‑post vertical configuration. It is utilized by data center and facilities engineers to secure UPS systems that do not natively include rack ears, providing structural support and proper alignment.

The kit includes two pairs of rails, mounting brackets, installation hardware, and an installation guide, allowing technicians to adapt Smart‑UPS SRT units for supported rack installations. It does not contain electrical components and has no power distribution or network functionality.

Rail dimensions are approximately 92 mm (H) × 260 mm (W) × 190 mm (D) with a net weight of ~3.85 kg, making the kit compact and suitable for racks with constrained space.

This rail kit supports select Smart‑UPS SRT models in the 2.2 kVA to 10 kVA range when the host UPS lacks integrated rack ears or rails. Installation secures the UPS chassis within open frame or relay racks, preserving airflow and stability during operation.

SRTRK3 is not intended as a universal mounting solution for all UPS products and should only be used with compatible Smart‑UPS SRT devices in appropriate rack configurations where a 2‑post rail installation is required.
