Overview

APC SRTRK2 is a 19″ rack rail mounting kit engineered to secure compatible UPS units within standard 19″ server cabinets and enclosures. It is deployed by data center technicians and facilities engineers to properly support heavy UPS hardware and convert free‑standing UPS models into rack‑mountable configurations.

The rail kit includes structural rails with associated mounting hardware and installation guide, designed to interface with matching rack uprights and allow stable attachment of the supported UPS model. It provides engineered support points and alignment for the UPS chassis, reducing installation complexity and improving mechanical reliability.

Physically, SRTRK2 installs into 19″ rack infrastructure alongside vertical posts, enabling secure placement of UPS systems that would otherwise not fit directly into rack rails. Its low‑profile rail assemblies maintain cabinet usable space while providing robust support for the loaded UPS.

This accessory is intended for use with specific APC Smart‑UPS SRT UPS models with capacities in the 5 kVA to 10 kVA range. It does not provide power distribution, electrical control, or monitoring functions; its role is purely mechanical mounting.

SRTRK2 is not suitable for UPS units outside of the supported size range or for applications requiring integrated power or network management capabilities. Its purpose is strictly physical installation and support.
