Overview

APC ACDC2551 is a mechanical depth adapter accessory designed to extend the usable depth of APC NetShelter enclosures. It is used by data center and rack infrastructure teams when reconfiguring or upgrading 42 U NetShelter cabinets to accept deeper equipment or containment components without compromising structural alignment.

This adapter allows adjustment of enclosure depth from 600 mm up to approximately 750 mm nominal, enabling support for deeper network devices, servers, or containment hardware that exceed the original cabinet depth specifications.

Mechanically, ACDC2551 is a rigid assembly that affixes to the existing rack structure and provides a stable extension platform. Its construction is suitable for typical server room and data center ambient conditions, designed to maintain cabinet integrity under load while preserving airflow and physical access.
