The Eaton Tripp Lite Series T100-PT1 is a compact 2-in-1 continuity tester and terminal block connector tool engineered for fast verification of RJ45, RJ11, and terminal block wiring in structured cabling systems. Designed for network installation technicians and IT infrastructure maintenance crews, it quickly pinpoints opens, shorts, crossed pairs, and split pairs across twisted-pair copper cables.
Featuring a modular main unit paired with a detachable remote unit, the Eaton Tripp Lite T100-PT1 enables single-person testing of long cable runs across walls, ceilings, and patch panels. The integrated screwless push-in terminal block allows direct testing of raw lead wires and custom pinouts without requiring crimped RJ connectors, speeding up troubleshooting on field-terminated security, audio, and control cables.
Deployable in data centers, telecommunications rooms, building automation projects, and commercial IT infrastructure. Compatible with standard Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and RJ11/12 phone lines alongside raw wire connections. Do NOT connect the device to active Power over Ethernet (PoE) lines or live telephone wires with carrier voltage, as electrical current will permanently damage the internal sensing circuitry.
