Overview
The Eaton N235-001-SH-6A is a Cat6a straight-through, shielded, in-line RJ45 coupler with female RJ45 connectors on both ends. It connects two compatible Ethernet cables and provides feed-through connectivity through a standard keystone-style wallplate.
The coupler supports Cat6a, Cat6, and Cat5e networks and uses 50-microinch gold-plated contacts. Its protective shielded housing is designed to reduce EMI/RFI interference. Eaton specifies Type 4 PoE++ up to 100W compatibility.
It is suitable for network closets, server rooms, data centers, white-space installations, telecommunications, and structured Ethernet cabling. The straight-through design is intended for standard feed-through connections; it is not the appropriate choice when a 90-degree-down coupler is required.
