The TRENDnet TMO-312C2K is a two-unit kit of MoCA 2.5 adapters designed for engineers and IT professionals who need to extend Ethernet connectivity over existing coaxial cabling. It enables up to 2.5 Gbps net throughput using bonded MoCA channels, bridging Ethernet-capable devices in locations where running new cabling would be impractical. Each adapter provides one RJ-45 Gigabit LAN port and one F-type female coax port, and supports networks of up to 16 MoCA nodes. It fits deployment environments such as campus buildings, distributed networks or multi-dwelling units where coax is already present, and integrates into MoCA-compliant infrastructure (backward compatible with MoCA 2.0/1.1/1.0). The TMO-312C2K works alongside standard Ethernet switches and routers and requires minimal setup — plug-and-play for converting coax segments into Ethernet links.
