Overview :
The NETGEAR EAX17-100NAS is an AX3000 dual-band WiFi 6 mesh extender designed to expand an existing wireless network. It is intended for home and small-office deployments where additional WiFi coverage is required without replacing the primary router.
The extender provides up to 3 Gbps combined wireless throughput, with 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2400 Mbps on 5 GHz. A 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and 4-stream WiFi architecture support higher device capacity and bandwidth.
Connectivity includes one 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet port for attaching a wired device. The unit supports One WiFi with Smart Roaming and can operate with existing 2.4 GHz and/or 5 GHz 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax routers or gateways.
It is designed for wall-outlet deployment rather than rack installation. It should not be selected where multi-port Ethernet switching, enterprise rack mounting, or WiFi 6E/7 capability is required.
