Overview

The QNAP LS-ADRANDR-GL-3Y is a 3-year subscription license for the "Advanced" tier of AMIZ Cloud (formerly QNAP Cloud Device Management). This license is designed for IT administrators and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) who need to centrally manage, monitor, and troubleshoot a distributed fleet of QNAP NAS, switches, and edge units across multiple geographic locations.

Technically, the "Advanced" license unlocks professional-grade features that are restricted in the free tier, such as remote terminal access, extensive historical log retention, and advanced real-time alert notifications. It solves the problem of "site-hopping" for IT maintenance; instead of logging into individual devices via VPN or local access, administrators can push firmware updates, monitor CPU/RAM health, and restart services across dozens of devices from a single centralized dashboard.

Deployment is virtual and managed through the QNAP Software Store and the AMIZ Cloud portal. Once the license is activated and assigned to a device (organization), the host NAS or switch gains full "Advanced" status, enabling the orchestration features required for high-availability enterprise environments.

Do not allow the license to expire if you rely on historical performance data, as the system will revert to the Basic tier and data retention periods will be significantly shortened. Ensure that the devices intended for management are running a compatible version of QTS, QuTS hero, or QSS to support the AMIZ Cloud agent.
