Overview :

The RUCKUS ICX8200-48ZP2-E2 is a high-density campus access switch built for engineering teams handling next-generation wireless, IoT and multigig deployments. It supports 48 downlink ports including a mix of 10/100/1000 Mb/s RJ-45 and 100/1000/2500 Mb/s multigig PoE++ RJ-45, enabling both standard endpoint devices and high-power/2.5G access points to be powered and connected. The unit offers four 1/10/25 GbE SFP28 uplink/stacking ports, supports stacking of up to 12 units and provides up to 1,480 W PoE budget with dual power supplies, making it suitable for dense enterprise edge or campus wiring-closet locations. It fits into a standard 1 RU rack mount environment, supports advanced L2/L3 features such as IPv4/IPv6 static routing, RIP, OSPF, VRRP, VRF, GRE and VXLAN, and integrates into management frameworks from RUCKUS including SmartZone, RUCKUS Cloud or Unleashed controllerless operation.
From an engineering standpoint the switch is designed for scalability, high-availability and future-proof multigig/PoE++ support in campus wiring closets or edge aggregation zones.
