The Ruckus ICX7550-48F is a fixed 1RU Ethernet switch designed for aggregation and edge deployments where full-fiber connectivity is desired. It offers 48 SFP (1 Gb) ports plus 12 SFP+ (10 Gb) ports built into the 48-port variant, providing high-density fiber access for campus or data centre networks. With a switching capacity of 912 Gb/s and support for stacking up to 12 units in a single fabric, it enables scalable expansion without chassis complexity. Designed for environments that demand robust Layer 3 functionality, the ICX7550-48F supports static routing, RIP, OSPF and BGP, as well as MACsec encryption. The unit does not include PoE power budget, making it suited for fiber aggregation rather than power-driven access deployment. Dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies and reversible airflow options provide service-grade resilience.
