The HP C7977AN is a rewritable LTO‑7 Ultrium data cartridge designed for enterprise backup, archive, and long‑term storage environments where high capacity and reliability are required. It offers a native storage capacity of 6 TB and a compressed capacity of up to 15 TB (assuming 2.5:1 compression), enabling large datasets to be archived efficiently.
