The APC SMTL1500RM3UC is a line‑interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that delivers conditioned AC power and short‑duration backup for critical equipment in single‑phase 120 V environments. It is deployed by IT engineers, infrastructure technicians, and network architects to protect rack‑mounted servers, edge networking devices, storage arrays, and communications gear from utility disturbances including brownouts, surges, and outages. The lithium‑ion battery technology extends service life while reducing maintenance compared to traditional lead‑acid UPS systems.

Rated at 1500 VA / 1350 W, the UPS provides pure sine‑wave output under battery operation and incorporates Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct incoming voltage fluctuations without engaging the battery, reducing unnecessary discharge cycles. Its short‑depth 3U rackmount form factor is engineered for standard 19″ racks and shallow cabinets, optimising space in IDF/MDF closets or edge compute installations.

Front‑panel LCD status and control interface provides real‑time information on load, input/output voltage, and battery conditions. Integrated SmartConnect enables cloud‑based remote monitoring and alerts, while a SmartSlot offers optional APC network management card integration for centralized power management via APC EcoStruxure IT or third‑party SNMP platforms.
