Overview

The Eaton 5PX1500RTG2 is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to provide regulated backup power and voltage conditioning for rack-mounted and tower IT equipment operating on 120 V AC electrical systems. It is specified by IT infrastructure engineers, network administrators, and rack technicians to maintain continuity of servers, switches, storage systems, and peripheral network devices through utility power disturbances such as sags, surges, and unexpected outages, enabling orderly shutdown and minimizing unplanned downtime.

It is not intended for primary core data center UPS protection where external battery infrastructure and N+1 parallel redundancy are required, as it lacks native high-availability parallel configuration.
