Overview
The Eaton 5P850GR is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed for protecting IT infrastructure operating on 230 V AC systems. Extended runtime modules are not supported in this UPS series; for applications requiring long runtimes, consider Eaton 5PX models.
In practical deployment, the 5P850GR is suited to rack-mounted network servers, storage nodes, VoIP gateways, and PoE switches where 230 V availability and short backup windows are required. It is not appropriate as a core data center UPS where extended runtime, modular battery packs, or parallel scalability are required.
