Overview :

The Eaton SMART500RT1UTAA is a SmartPro 500VA/300W line-interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed for rack-mounted and tower deployments. Eaton is the manufacturer, while Tripp Lite is the compatible/product brand associated with the model. The UPS provides battery backup and AC power protection for networking equipment, telecom devices, storage equipment, workstations and other sensitive IT loads.

The unit operates from a 120 VAC single-phase input through a NEMA 5-15P connection and provides 120V regulated output. Its automatic voltage regulation (AVR) maintains nominal output during brownouts as low as 90V without immediately using battery power. The UPS has a 500VA/300W capacity and uses a line-interactive topology with sinewave output.

The SMART500RT1UTAA occupies 1U of rack space and can also be installed vertically as a tower. It provides six UPS-backed NEMA 5-15R outlets plus one surge-only outlet, with one UPS-backed outlet forming a switchable load bank. USB, RS-232, EPO and an expansion slot support local monitoring, controlled shutdown and optional network management.
