Overview :

The Eaton SMART1000RM1U is a 1 kVA / 800 W line-interactive UPS designed for IT infrastructure environments where rack space is limited. It is used by network and server engineers to protect critical equipment from brownouts, over-voltages, blackouts and transient line noise, ensuring equipment remains powered long enough for graceful shutdown or continued operation. It supports a 120 V nominal output with automatic voltage regulation across an input range of 83 V to 147 V, thereby reducing battery usage when line voltage fluctuates. This unit fits into 1 U of a 19-inch rack (also compatible with 2- or 4-post installations) and is ideal for small data closets, edge installations or branch server racks. For remote monitoring or integration, it offers USB and DB9 ports plus a slot for optional network management cards, allowing centralized control and alerting.
