Overview

The Eaton SMX700HG is a 230 V line‑interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to provide calibrated backup power and voltage regulation in environments where leakage current and electrical noise must be minimized, such as network closets, labs, and healthcare equipment areas. It is deployed by systems architects, infrastructure engineers, and IT facilities personnel to maintain continuity of connected equipment during short utility interruptions and to mitigate brownouts and overvoltage events.

This model is not designed for continuous heavy cyclic battery use such as frequent mobile cart deployments where the UPS is repeatedly disconnected from AC mains. Use in such conditions can void the battery warranty.
