Epson V11H987020-N PowerLite 982W 3LCD WXGA Projector

Overview :

The Epson V11H987020-N (PowerLite 982W) is an education and corporate-grade 3LCD multimedia projector engineered to deliver large-format visual presentations in high-ambient-light environments. IT professionals, AV technicians, and facilities procurement officers deploy this projection system within standard corporate huddle spaces, training rooms, and institutional classrooms. It directly resolves the issue of poor text legibility and washed-out graphics caused by overhead fluorescent lighting in modern learning spaces.

Utilizing a 3-chip 3LCD optical engine, the hardware provides 4,200 lumens of continuous, equal color and white brightness, delivering accurate color reproduction without the "rainbow effect" artifacts typical of single-chip DLP architectures. It features a native WXGA resolution (1280 x 800) with a 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio, matching modern notebook screen layouts. The integrated 230W UHE lamp incorporates specialized thermal management, achieving a functional lifespan up to 17,000 operating hours when configured in low-power ECO mode.

Equipped with an integrated RJ45 Fast Ethernet interface, the system supports remote network management and network asset monitoring via the Epson Projector Management software platform.A built-in Moderator application permits up to 50 concurrent network-connected client devices to interface with the projector, enabling instructors to choose and display content from up to four screens simultaneously in a split-screen arrangement. Do not deploy this standard-throw projector in compact spaces requiring a distance of less than three feet from the screen surface, as the 1.38 to 2.24:1 optics require linear throw distance to generate large diagonal image fields.
