- Golf and entertainment modes: Dedicated Golf and Game modes, HDR10 and HLG support, and HDMI eARC audio return support versatile use.
Display and Projection Performance
The AK700ST uses a single-chip DLP projection system with a laser light source. It supports a native 16:9 aspect ratio and selectable screen-fill formats of 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, and 1:1.
BenQ specifies a 3,000,000:1 full-on/full-off contrast ratio and 95% Rec.709 colour coverage. HDR10 and HLG compatibility provides support for compatible high-dynamic-range content.
Golf Simulation and Gaming
The dedicated Golf Mode is designed to reproduce natural golf-course colours. Short-throw optics and flexible image adjustment features help accommodate golf simulator screens and different room layouts.
For gaming, BenQ specifies input lag of 16.7 ms at 1080p/120Hz and 8.4 ms at 1080p/240Hz. At 4K/60Hz, the specified input lag is 33.4 ms. Actual performance depends on the source signal and operating settings.

Installation and Compatibility
The AK700ST accepts supported video inputs up to 4K UHD resolution and is designed for 4K projection. Its short-throw lens, motorized zoom, Quick Focus, and screen-fit features provide options for adapting the projected image to the available room and screen.
Before installation, calculate the projector-to-screen distance for the desired image size and check the mounting position against the projector's 102.5% projection offset. For golf simulation, also consider ceiling height, the hitting area, and the golfer's swing clearance.
DC Supplies Product Note
For golf simulator installations, confirm your screen dimensions and mounting distance before ordering. The AK700ST's short-throw ratio and 1.2x motorized zoom offer positioning flexibility, but the final image size depends on the projector's placement and optical settings. An external audio system can be connected through compatible HDMI eARC equipment if additional sound output is required.
