The StarTech UNIVKA25-LAPTOP-LOCK is a bulk-deployment security solution designed for environments where identical key access is required across multiple workstations. This 25-pack features a "Keyed-Alike" system, meaning all 50 included keys can open any of the 25 locks in the set. This is engineered specifically for IT administrators and facility managers who need to simplify key management in labs, open-office plans, or retail displays.

Technically, the lock utilizes a universal 3-in-1 head design compatible with the three industry-standard security slots: Kensington K-Slot (T-Bar), Kensington Nano, and Noble Wedge. By providing interchangeable tips, this hardware eliminates the logistics of tracking different lock types for mixed-manufacturer laptop fleets. The lock head features a 360-degree swivel and a 90-degree pivot to prevent torque damage to the device chassis during movement.

Each unit is constructed with a 6.6ft (2m) cut-resistant steel cable shielded by a vinyl coating to prevent scratching of office furniture.
