Overview :

The Eaton Tripp Lite Series B078-101-USB-1 is a compact server interface module (SIU) engineered to connect a server or computer with USB keyboard/mouse ports and an HD15 VGA display port to a Tripp Lite NetCommander Cat5 KVM switch. Designed for data centers, server rooms, and network closets, it converts traditional KVM console signals into standard Category 5e/6 cabling for streamlined, high-density server management.

Featuring an HD15 male VGA connector and a USB-A male connector on one end, and an RJ45 female port on the other, the B078-101-USB-1 allows servers to be positioned up to 100 feet away from the NetCommander KVM switch using lightweight Cat5e/6 patch cables. Its bus-powered design draws power directly from the connected server's USB port, eliminating the need for external power adapters.

Deployable in server racks, enterprise IT environments, and colocation facilities. Supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) at 60 Hz and features hot-swappable operation to allow adding or removing servers without powering down the KVM switch. Do NOT connect directly to active Ethernet switches or routers; requires a direct point-to-point Cat5e/6 cable run to a compatible NetCommander KVM switch.
