Overview

The Eaton B070-008-19-IP is a 1U rack-mounted IP KVM console designed for centralized control of up to eight servers from a single integrated workstation. It combines a 19-inch LCD display, keyboard, and touchpad with an embedded KVM-over-IP switch for both local and remote infrastructure management.

This unit enables direct rack access or remote administration over LAN, WAN, or internet connections, making it suitable for data centers, enterprise server rooms, network operations centers (NOCs), and distributed IT environments. It supports Cat5/5e/6 cabling with external server interface units, allowing server connections up to approximately 100 ft away from the console.

The system includes dual Ethernet ports for redundancy, ensuring continuous remote access in case of network failure. It supports simultaneous local and remote sessions, enabling shared operational access for troubleshooting and maintenance. The integrated LCD supports up to 1366×768 resolution, while on-screen display (OSD) controls simplify port switching and system navigation.

Deployment is intended for 19-inch rack environments where space optimization and consolidated server management are critical. It is not designed for general-purpose switching, high-bandwidth video processing, or standalone desktop use outside rack infrastructure.
