Overview

The Eaton B064-008-01-IPG is an enterprise-grade 8-port Cat5 KVM over IP switch designed for remote and local server management in data centers, network operation centers (NOCs), and enterprise IT environments. It enables BIOS-level access to up to eight servers using a single console while supporting remote access over IP for distributed infrastructure control.

The system provides both local and remote user access, allowing one onsite operator and one remote operator to manage connected systems simultaneously. It supports Virtual Media functionality, enabling remote mounting of USB drives, optical media, and other storage for OS deployment, firmware updates, and maintenance tasks.

Built for rack environments, the unit fits into a 1U standard 19-inch rack and includes redundant power inputs for higher availability in mission-critical deployments. It supports VGA video up to 1920×1200 resolution and works with both USB and PS/2 interfaces for broad server compatibility.

This model is suited for centralized infrastructure control where secure remote administration, hardware-level access, and multi-server management are required. It is not intended for consumer KVM switching or simple desktop display sharing applications.
