Overview

The Eaton B013-330-USB is a wired KVM extender designed to extend VGA video and USB keyboard/mouse control up to 330 feet (100 meters) over Cat5e cabling. It enables centralized equipment management where servers, workstations, or KVM switches must be deployed away from the operator console in secure or space-constrained environments.

The extender kit includes local transmitter and remote receiver units, allowing simultaneous local and remote console access. It supports VGA video resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 and provides USB connectivity for keyboard and mouse operation without requiring IP-based infrastructure or software configuration.

The system uses standard Cat5e UTP cabling for point-to-point deployment across server rooms, control centers, industrial environments, branch offices, and SMB infrastructure installations. Receiver-side gain and equalization controls allow manual tuning of video quality over longer cable runs.

This model is suitable for extending VGA-based systems where reliable hardware-level KVM control is required without network dependency. It is not intended for HDMI/DisplayPort environments, IP-based remote management, or ultra-high-resolution digital video applications.
