Overview :

The StarTech SV565UTPHDU is a USB and HDMI KVM console extender that transmits uncompressed 1080p or 1920×1200 video alongside USB peripheral connectivity up to 100 m over a single Cat5e/Cat6 cable. It enables remote control of a host system from a distant console using existing structured cabling infrastructure, suitable for data centers, control rooms, labs, and secure facilities where direct cabling is impractical.

This solution integrates transmitter and receiver units with HDMI video and multiple USB 2.0 ports for keyboard, mouse, and other low-speed USB devices. It is OS-independent with no drivers required and supports HDCP, CEC, and lip-sync pass-through for accurate display rendering.

Deploy in rack or wall-mounted environments where distance extension without signal compression is critical. Not intended for network switching or IP routing; it requires point-to-point Cat5e/6 connectivity.
