The HPE AF630A, also known as the LCD8500 1U Rackmount Console Kit, is a space-efficient KVM Console integrating  a bright 18.5″ WXGA+ display with a full keyboard and touchpad—all in a single 1U chassis. Designed for HPE server racks, it enables quick access for monitoring and maintenance without the need for external peripherals. The crisp BrightView LCD provides up to 1600 × 1200 resolution at a fluid 60–75 Hz refresh rate, while its durable silver-metal enclosure ensures durability and easy rack identification. Ideal for dense environments, it supports tool-less installation and includes front-mounted USB ports for easy connections.

The “lid switch” automatically switches the display off when closed and powers it back on upon opening, conserving backlight life. Tool-less rails simplify rack installation, and the console is built to support standard 11000 G2, ProLiant DL20 Gen9, ML110 Gen9, ML350p Gen8, MicroServer Gen8, and similar systems.
