Overview
The Tripp Lite N082-004-WH is a four-port surface-mount box designed to provide a convenient mounting location for modular keystone jacks. Its surface-mount design is useful where installing an in-wall electrical box is impractical or unavailable, including wall, ceiling and baseboard installations.
Keystone Compatibility
The four openings accept common keystone-style modules. Compatible applications can include Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a data connections as well as HDMI, DisplayPort, RCA and USB keystone modules, depending on the specific module selected. The box itself does not provide an Ethernet, video or USB connection; the appropriate keystone jacks are installed separately.
Installation and Cable Routing
The enclosure uses a snap-open top cover for access to the keystone openings. Rear routing slots allow cabling to enter from behind while the box remains mounted against a wall, ceiling or baseboard. Mounting hardware and double-sided tape are provided for installation.
