Overview
The Eaton N238-001-SH-TF is a shielded, toolless RJ45 keystone jack for structured copper network installations. It terminates solid 22-24 AWG cabling without a punchdown tool and is designed for installation in wall plates, patch panels, and surface-mount boxes. Eaton and authorized-distributor documentation identify the unit for Cat5e/Cat6 applications and shielded Cat6a cable compatibility.
The jack provides a female RJ45 interface and uses a 110 IDC termination. Its metal shielding is intended to reduce EMI/RFI interference, while the integrated dust cap protects the connector when unused. The design also supports PoE/PoE+ applications.
