Lenovo 4Y41R62060 ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2 Folio Keyboard
Overview
The Lenovo 4Y41R62060 is a high-performance detachable folio keyboard specifically designed for the ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2. Engineered to provide a full laptop-like typing experience, it features a living hinge interface that connects via a magnetic Pogo pin system. This accessory is essential for professionals who transition between high-precision data entry and mobile tablet use, offering a stable and ergonomic platform that supports four distinct physical positions: flat, tilt, close, and flip mode.
Technically, the keyboard is equipped with a white LED backlight, enabling accurate typing in low-light environments. It integrates Lenovo's iconic red TrackPoint and a high-precision multi-touch trackpad, providing unparalleled cursor control without requiring external peripherals. For enhanced security and convenience, this model includes a built-in "match-on-chip" touch fingerprint reader and a dedicated pen holder to keep compatible input devices secure during transit. The keys utilize a high-quality rubber dome switch mechanism for a crisp, tactile response.
Deployment is optimized for mobile professionals who require durability and streamlined productivity. The folio cover not only acts as an input device but also serves as a protective layer for the tablet's display, helping to prevent scratches and impact damage. It is finished in a professional black material that matches the ThinkPad aesthetic. While this keyboard is specifically optimized for the Gen 2 hardware, its physical layout and Pogo pin interface are designed for rapid, tool-free attachment, transforming the X12 tablet into a fully functional productivity workstation in seconds.
