TRENDnet TV-IP420P 3MP Motorized Dome Network Camera
Overview
The TRENDnet TV-IP420P is an indoor/outdoor motorized PTZ dome network camera designed for comprehensive surveillance in demanding environments. It addresses the need for reliable video monitoring with the flexibility to remotely control camera positioning. This unit is engineered for businesses requiring detailed coverage over large areas, providing high-definition video and robust performance in variable lighting and weather conditions. At its core, the camera delivers 3-megapixel resolution (2048 x 1536) at a fluid 30 frames per second, ensuring clear and usable footage. This is complemented by a 4x optical zoom and a 16x digital zoom, allowing for close-up views without sacrificing image quality. The motorized pan-tilt-zoom functionality provides a wide field of view, with a 350° pan and 90° tilt range, enabling a single camera to effectively monitor areas that would otherwise require multiple fixed devices. Built for versatile deployment, the TV-IP420P features an IP66 weather-rated housing, making it resilient against harsh outdoor elements. Its compact dome form factor is suitable for discreet installation on walls or ceilings. Management is streamlined through Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies installation by providing both data and power over a single Ethernet cable. The camera is compatible with TRENDnet's complimentary software and mobile apps for remote viewing and control.
