Eaton SRCOOLNETLX LX Platform SNMP/Web Interface Module

Overview :

The Eaton SRCOOLNETLX is a network interface module that equips select portable cooling units with remote monitoring and control capabilities. IT infrastructure and facilities engineers deploy this adapter with rack‑oriented cooling systems to centrally monitor temperature, receive alerts and adjust cooling settings without being physically present. It solves the problem of unmanaged thermal control in small server rooms, wiring closets and back‑office equipment spaces.

It provides remote status and control via HTML5 web interface, SNMP, SSH, Telnet or CLI, allowing integration into existing network management workflows. The included E2MT environmental sensor module measures ambient rack temperature and feeds real‑time data back to the monitoring interface. The unit powers from a 100–240 V AC adapter and connects to the cooling unit’s remote port and to the site Ethernet network via an RJ45 interface.

This module fits deployments using compatible Eaton/Tripp Lite portable cooling units such as SRCOOL12K, SRXCOOL12K and SRXCOOL12KB. It is typically mounted near the cooling unit or within rack infrastructure where temperature visibility and control improve reliability of servers and network gear.

Compatibility is based on the LX Platform and PowerAlert® Device Manager interface, integrating with standard network protocols and reducing the need for on‑site HVAC access. The E2MT sensor attaches within the rack to provide ambient readings, and the RJ45 port links to the facility LAN for remote access.

In a practical deployment, SRCOOLNETLX enables remote operations teams to adjust target temperature setpoints, fan speeds, and dehumidification modes on portable cooling units in unattended or off‑hours scenarios, reducing manual intervention. It is not a standalone cooling device and must connect to supported portable AC units for functionality. Additionally, it is not suited for large‑scale building HVAC systems or environments without structured Ethernet connectivity.
