The Ubiquiti UA-Intercom-Viewer is a UniFi Access display designed for visitor screening and remote access control. It provides a 5-inch portrait touchscreen for viewing live video, communicating with visitors, and remotely unlocking connected access points.
Visitor Screening and Access Control
The Intercom Viewer works with compatible UniFi Access Intercoms and Reader Pro devices. A visitor can initiate a call from a compatible reader, allowing the user at the Intercom Viewer to see the visitor, communicate through two-way audio, and remotely unlock the door.
Display and Audio
The 5-inch touchscreen has a 1280 × 720 pixel resolution, 300-nit typical luminance, and portrait orientation. Built-in microphones and a speaker support two-way communication through the UniFi Access application.
Network and Power
The UA-Intercom-Viewer uses a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet connection and is powered through PoE. It supports a 44–57V DC input range and has a maximum power consumption of 5W. Cat 5e cabling is the minimum recommended network cable category.
Installation
The viewer is designed for indoor installation in a vertical portrait orientation. An aluminum-alloy wall mount is included, while gang box mounting is supported with an optional mount. The enclosure combines glass and polycarbonate materials.
