Overview :

The StarTech IESC1G50UP is a ruggedized, unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch designed to deliver data and power in harsh, high-interference environments. It solves a unique installation challenge by offering dual power input flexibility: it can be hardwired via a traditional terminal block or powered using a standard Type-N barrel wall adapter, allowing for easier deployment in locations where DC power systems aren't already established.

Housed in a compact IP30-rated steel enclosure, this switch features four Gigabit PoE+ ports (supporting up to 30W per port) and one dedicated Gigabit uplink. It is engineered to withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 75°C and has been tested for vibration, shock, and free-fall resilience. With a 120W total power budget, it reliably supports high-draw devices like PTZ cameras, wireless access points, and industrial sensors.

Optimized for small-scale industrial deployments, transit systems, and outdoor enclosures, the IESC1G50UP provides 2kV surge protection on RJ45 ports to prevent equipment damage. It is not recommended for environments requiring software-level management (VLANs, QoS), nor for 10Gbps high-bandwidth backbone applications.
