The APC AR8603A is a horizontal cable management panel engineered to organize and route power and data cabling within standard 19‑inch IT racks and enclosures. It is typically deployed in server rooms, data closets, and network cabinets to maintain orderly cable runs and support airflow management across equipment rows.

Mechanically, the unit occupies 2 rack units (2U) of space and provides a 150 mm (6‑inch) deep cable trough with integrated brush strips and cable access slots. These features enable front‑to‑rear cable pass‑through while minimizing unwanted airflow and visual cable clutter.

The panel includes a bottom plate with integrated tie‑off points for bundling cables using hook‑and‑loop or cable ties, reducing strain on connectors and maintaining proper bend radius compliance. The cover protects routed cables and presents a finished appearance across the rack front.
