Overview

The APC ACDC2515 is a containment‑system adapter used in NetShelter row-level deployments. It increases the vertical height of a 42U SX rack by 750 mm, effectively converting it to a 48U SX profile. This is very useful when the overhead containment ceiling or ductwork was built for taller racks—by using this adapter, you can align the containment structure without swapping out the racks. This helps maintain airflow integrity in your hot/cold aisle setup, preserving the thermal seal while minimizing changes to existing rack infrastructure.
