Overview

The APC ACDC2512 is a roof‑height adapter designed for NetShelter aisle‑containment systems. It adds 300 mm (approx. 1 ft) of vertical height to a 42‑unit high NetShelter SX rack, effectively turning it into a 48U SX rack for containment ceiling alignment. This is particularly useful when the overhead containment ceiling or ductwork is designed for 48U racks — instead of replacing the existing 42U enclosure, you can mount the adapter to match the ceiling height. This helps maintain a continuous thermal seal across the row without compromising the structural integrity of the containment system.
