Overview

The APC ACDC2506 is a roof‑height adapter designed for NetShelter SX enclosures. It adds 600 mm of vertical clearance to a 42U SX rack, effectively allowing it to match the height of a 45U SX profile without changing the rack itself. This makes it ideal for containment systems or retrofits where the existing overhead ductwork or containment ceiling is designed for taller enclosures. By using this adapter, infrastructure teams can maintain a consistent thermal seal, reduce the risk of hot-aisle and cold-aisle bypass, and avoid costly rack replacements.
