The APC ACDC2505 is a roof‑height adapter module designed for the NetShelter containment ecosystem. It allows a 42‑unit high SX rack to be extended by approximately 300 mm, effectively aligning that rack with a 45U SX profile. Engineers often use this when retrofitting existing row containment infrastructure—where the ceiling rails or ductwork expect the taller height—without replacing the whole rack. By using this adapter, you maintain consistent containment geometry across the row, preserve airflow sealing integrity, and reduce thermal bypass between hot and cold aisles.
