Overview

The APC ACDC2502 is a vertical roof-height adapter used in NetShelter aisle-containment systems. It adds 700 mm of height on top of a 42U SX rack, converting it to match a 42U VX‑height containment ceiling or duct framework. This is useful in retrofit or mixed-height deployments where the containment infrastructure is designed around taller frames. Engineers choose this adapter to maintain a continuous thermal barrier and align rails/ducts without having to replace the existing rack frame.
