Overview :
The Logitech 939-001658 Astro A40 TR Headset with MixAmp Pro TR is a premier audio solution engineered for professional gamers, content creators, and live streamers. This system is designed for the rigorous demands of competitive play, providing a high-fidelity audio experience for Xbox, PC, and Mac environments. It solves the critical need for precise sound localization, clear voice communication, and granular audio control during high-stakes gameplay. At its core, the system combines the open-back A40 TR Headset with the powerful MixAmp Pro TR external audio controller. The headset is tuned with Astro Audio V2, which delivers a neutral, smooth, and extended frequency spectrum for detailed, true-to-life imaging. This tuning provides non-fatiguing highs, clear mids, and tight, distortion-free bass, allowing users to discern subtle in-game cues with exceptional clarity. The included MixAmp Pro TR elevates the experience by enabling on-the-fly adjustment of the game-to-voice balance, a critical feature for team-based communication. Built for marathon gaming sessions, the A40 TR is lightweight, comfortable, and durable. Its over-ear design provides a pressure-free fit that minimizes heat buildup. The system is highly adaptable; the headset features a swappable boom microphone that can be positioned on either side and customizable speaker tags for personalization. For loud tournament settings, it can be converted to a closed-back, noise-isolating headset with an optional Mod Kit. The MixAmp Pro TR acts as a professional-grade external sound card, delivering Dolby Audio processing for a cinematic, 3D audio experience.
