The Logitech 939-001769 Astro A40 TR Headset with MixAmp M80 is an open-back, wired gaming headset system engineered for professional gamers, content creators, and streamers using Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC platforms. It is designed to deliver exceptional audio fidelity, comfort, and durability to meet the rigorous standards of competitive gaming. This system provides total control over the gaming audio experience, allowing for precise adjustments and customization to adapt to any gaming environment. At its core, the A40 TR headset is built for marathon gaming sessions, featuring a lightweight yet rugged construction with cloth ear cushions and headband for maximum comfort. The open-back design provides a natural, spacious soundstage, while the swappable, precision unidirectional microphone minimizes background noise for clear communication. The included MixAmp M80 attaches directly to the Xbox controller, putting critical audio controls at the operator's fingertips. This configuration is ideal for deployment in home gaming setups, streaming studios, and even loud tournament environments. The system's key operational advantage is the on-controller MixAmp M80, which allows for instant, tactile adjustments to the game-to-voice audio balance, master volume, and one of three preset EQ modes optimized for different game genres. This eliminates the need for navigating software menus mid-game, ensuring focus remains on the competition.
