Overview :

The StarTech ST124HDVW is a hardware-based 2x2 HDMI video wall controller designed for professional AV and digital signage deployments that require splitting or scaling a single HDMI source across multiple displays. It accepts a 4K 60 Hz HDMI 2.0 input and outputs to four 1080p HDMI screens, enabling creation of a 2×2 video wall or distribution to multiple displays.

Targeted at integrators and AV engineers in retail, control rooms, broadcast, and corporate environments, it supports HDCP 2.2 compatibility and 7.1 channel audio pass-through. The unit includes RS-232 and Ethernet control for remote configuration and EDID management.

Deployment is desktop or rack-mountable with a metal enclosure. It is not a matrix switcher with independent source routing; it is intended for video wall or mirrored display use cases only.
