Overview:
The Eaton B118-008E-UHD-2 / Tripp Lite is an 8-port Ultra HD HDMI splitter designed to distribute a single HDMI audio/video source simultaneously to eight HDMI displays. It supports true 4K × 2K resolution at 60 Hz, making the Tripp Lite by Eaton unit suitable for digital signage, presentations, classrooms, conference environments, showrooms, offices and short-distance commercial AV installations.
The splitter provides a 1 × 8 HDMI configuration with one HDMI female input and eight HDMI female outputs. It supports HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, 36-bit Deep Color and up to 18 Gbps bandwidth, while supporting DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and LPCM 7.1-channel audio formats.
The B118-008E-UHD-2 includes user-adjustable EDID management, allowing the source to negotiate compatible video and audio capabilities with connected displays. It can also be cascaded through up to three levels to support as many as 512 displays in larger distribution applications.
