The Eaton B127A-1A1-BHPH is a wired HDMI over Cat6 video extender kit, comprising a transmitter and a low-profile pigtail receiver. It is deployed by AV integrators and IT infrastructure teams to extend high-resolution HDMI sources to distant displays over structured twisted-pair cabling where HDMI cable length limits would otherwise prevent reliable signal delivery. It solves distance and routing challenges in large meeting spaces, digital signage corridors, and control rooms.

From a technical deployment perspective, the kit supports Ultra HD video at up to 3840 × 2160 (4K) at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, HDR, and HDCP 2.2 compliance. The transmitter unit provides a local HDMI output for monitoring and sends the main HDMI signal over user-supplied Category 6 cabling up to approximately 230 ft (70 m). Power-over-Cable (PoC) simplifies installation by powering the receiver from the transmitter without requiring a separate local supply.

This extender kit is suitable for structured AV deployments in conference rooms, auditoriums, lecture halls, and digital signage installations where a source device must be separated from the display by distances that preclude direct HDMI runs.
