Overview
The Eaton P582-010-HD-V2A is a 10-foot active DisplayPort 1.2a-to-HDMI adapter cable with male DisplayPort and male HDMI connectors. It connects DisplayPort-equipped computers or graphics cards to HDMI monitors, projectors, HDTVs, and digital displays.
The active design supports HDMI 2.0 video up to 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz, along with HDCP 2.2, EDID, and audio when supported by the source. No separate power adapter is required.
Because the adapter is active, it supports both Single-Mode and Dual-Mode (DP++) DisplayPort outputs, including graphics cards that do not provide DP++ output. The high-grip HDMI connector helps maintain a secure connection during deployment.
It is suitable for workstations, control rooms, conference systems, digital signage, and other 4K display deployments. It is not the same as the passive P582-010, which is limited to Full HD and requires a DP++ source.
