Compatibility
The ST20000NT001 is a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive intended for compatible NAS devices, servers, and storage systems. Confirm that the NAS enclosure or controller supports 20TB drives, the SATA interface, and the required sector format. For multi-bay systems, consult the system manufacturer's compatibility list before installation.
Reliability and Data Protection
The drive is rated for a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 2.5 million hours and a maximum workload of 550TB per year under specified conditions. It includes rotational vibration sensors and supports IronWolf Health Management on compatible systems. The product datasheet also lists a five-year limited warranty and three years of Rescue Data Recovery Services, subject to eligibility, regional availability, and service terms.
DC Supplies Product Note
Check the complete model number before ordering. The ST20000NT001 is the 20TB IronWolf Pro SATA model with 256MB cache and a 550TB-per-year workload rating. It differs from the ST20000NE000 model, which is specified for NAS systems with a different workload rating and cache configuration.
