Overview

The StarTech SATDUP11 is a professional standalone hard drive duplicator and sanitizer designed for IT technicians, system integrators, and data recovery specialists. It allows for the bit-for-bit cloning of 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA hard drives (HDD) and solid-state drives (SSD) without requiring a host computer. This ensures 100% data integrity and bootability of the target drive.

The device features two primary modes: Duplication and Erasure. In duplication mode, it supports Sector-by-Sector cloning at speeds up to 6GB per minute, making it efficient for high-volume imaging and OS deployment. For security-conscious environments, the erasure function supports multiple sanitization methods, including Quick Erase, Full Erase, and DoD 5220.22-M compliant overwriting, ensuring that sensitive data is permanently unrecoverable.

Equipped with an integrated LCD display and a four-button navigation interface, the SATDUP11 provides real-time progress monitoring and diagnostic reports. It is compatible with SATA I/II/III drives and can be used with IDE or mSATA drives using additional StarTech adapters (sold separately). It is not compatible with NVMe or PCIe-based M.2 drives.
